After working on them for the past two years, holding numerous public and committee meetings on them, and finalizing what should be included,
APNA has formally adopted a set of Development Principles that future developers can review to make sure their projects are in keeping with neighborhood residents’ wishes. These principles and a soon to be developed “Manual of Usage” will compliment the Armory Park Historic Zone Advisory Board’s guidelines, throughout the greater neighborhood, not just the Historic Neighborhood Preservation Zone. In fact, APNA will soon have at least two historic districts ( APHD / APHPZ and the new Downtown Historic District) within the year.
