The development team presented the proposed development to the Armory Park Neighborhood Association in November 2021, to the Armory Park Historic Advisory Board in October 2021 and March 2022, to the Tucson Pima County Historic Commission Plans Review Subcommittee in October 2021 and
March 2022, a public neighborhood meeting for modifications to the rezoning conditions at 375 South Stone in November 2021 and May 2022. Through this process, the design was modified in response to the issues and concerns members of the public and committees expressed during those meetings.
The owner intends to utilize the Infill Incentive District process of the City of Tucson Uniform Development Code to develop and rehabilitate the property at 375 South Stone Avenue. They will also utilize the Individual Parking Plan process for the entire development. It should also be noted the project will be reviewed by the local and state historic review bodies for the entire development. The owner has reviewed this project with city staff at a CDRC Pre-Submittal meeting. At this point, it is known the owner will request modifications for the required number of motor vehicle parking, the required street setback, the required landscape borders and canopy trees along the street lot lines, and solid waste location.
We invite you to a meeting to review the proposed development with more specific detail regarding the project and discuss any concerns you may have on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 6pm. The meeting will be online on Zoom at:
